Jyotsna Gupta is an Open Source Enthusiast, working as a Senior Software Engineer in Gojek, Bangalore. She is also involved with Mozilla Community since 2015 and volunteers to Mozilla in her free time as an Add-on Content Reviewer, Mozilla TechSpeaker & Mozilla Representative (previously, a two-time Add-ons Featured Advisory Board Member & Judge of the worldwide contest ' Firefox Quantum Extension Challenge '). She is a coder by profession and a Shuttler by passion. She is also a Firefox Add-ons Mentor and has published a privacy-themed add-on PrivateX . Apart from her work and volunteering, she energizes herself by playing Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, and Basketball. She loves to eat fruits, is bad at partying, is a Xanthophile, a Minion-maniac, a shoeaholic, a neat-freak, a Scorpio, and prefers to spend most of the time in her room, else she feels to travel the world. Worked as a backend developer (involving techstack- Go, Redis, MongoDB) on a domain agnostic ML-based recommendation engine. The engine has a solid data pipeline built to work with billions of data points being collected and ingested. We have various predictive models to suit multiple use cases and are currently working with media houses to deliver recommendations and improve audience engagement across the websites.
Worked on a massive Internal project for TCS, Bangalore. And received appreciations and many commendations, for my team and me. I was trained in TCS Trivandrum, one of the best training centers TCS has to offer.
Developed a J2EE application called Healthwiki. I got familiar with a startup ecosystem and thrived in a fast-paced environment. Healthwiki's implementation was praised all around, and even the clients praised my work.
Initiated the Women Who Go chapter in Bangalore, Women Who Go are women of the Go community. Our mission is to help build a more diverse and inclusive Go community in Bangalore. We organise meet-ups every month in Bangalore for women and non-binary folks who are interested in Go.
I started my journey into the Mozilla India Community in 2015 as an FSA. After that, I went on to become the Founder & Club Lead of Firefox Club of BBDNIIT in 2015 April. Later on, I contributed to the Firefox OS App development, Localization, QA, and SuMo. I have also served on Mozilla Featured Add-ons Advisory Board twice. With the advisory board, I had been one of the five judges on the panel for the worldwide contest 'Firefox Quantum Extension Challenge' which ran globally from March 15'2018 to April 15'2018. Along with Mozilla REP, I am also a Firefox Add-ons Mentor and have also published a privacy-themed add-on PrivateX. Currently, I'm contributing to the Add-ons community as an Add-on Content Reviewer and a Recommended Extension Community Board Member.

Initiated the community, and contributed to the localization of the browser. Held many events for Brave's awareness among the general public. All of this led to being listed on Brave's website.
